This is Part 3 of 3 of the SUMMER TRILOGY: The Gerald R. Freel Memorial Trifecta! – In honor of the legacy of the Rockland County Chess Club side of the merged club, we will remember the late great Gerry Freel, Chief Tournament Director extraordinaire, a Vietnam veteran and a man who loved chess so much he literally had PXP EP on his license plate, with a set of three Swiss tournaments in the style he used to run them.
Entry fee is $20 for members, $25 for non-members, plus an additional $5 off for senior and student members and prizes are based on section.
Official USCF (Month) published ratings are used. Players must play in their appropriate section with very limited exceptions at the discretion of the TD.

If you pre-register for this tournament, please let me know ahead of time what weeks you may need to be absent.
All players who register in advance WILL BE PAIRED.
20 sets are available. Some players may need to bring their own set if there are over 40 players. Scoresheets are provided for all.
Tournament follows all standard USCF rules except for the following:
- Failure to show up after 30 minutes (instead of 1 hour) will result in a forfeit loss.

50% of Tournament Fees are used to generate prize pools per section. Number of prizes paid is based on the number of entrants in each section. Ties by points are paid equally.
While these will be three separate and distinct events with their own prizes, there will be an additional bonus at the end of the summer for the most total points earned over the course of the three events!
